From one group in Manchester (UK) Advance groups have grown across the globe and are now training churches in evangelism in over 100 nations around the world. Here is more about our journey and the impact of Advance groups.
2015
The first Advance group is formed in Manchester, UK.
2016
More Advance groups begin to form around the UK.
2017
The first Advance conference is held for the 73 UK based groups. From this the idea to move from training evangelists to training the church for evangelism forms.
2018
The first Advance guide is produced.
2019
Seeing how the Advance groups and the guide are helping train people to tell others about Jesus with a new boldness, we partner with the Luis Palau Association to produce the first international translation of the Advance guide. The Spanish guide is used by the at Palau City Festival in Madrid.
2020
During Covid, Advance continues grows rapidly as people desperately want to know how to tell their family and community about Jesus.
2021
This rapid growth continues, taking Advance groups into India. To support international groups we add our first global Advance ambassador to the team.
2022
Another two years of training material are added to the Advance guide taking the number of sessions available to groups from 12 to 36.
2023
There are 100,000 people meeting in Advance groups every month
2024
Advance groups launch into our 100th nation.
2025
Advance celebrates 10 years of groups and we continue to grow as we push towards the goal of seeing 1,000,000 people meeting each month in groups around the globe.
