As I think of the work Jesus has done in Cuba and the impact it has had on our brothers and sisters there, I am humbled and overjoyed at what is happening.
Since Advance was introduced to Cuba nearly 2 years ago it has been used to mobilise the Cuban church to meet, sharpen each other in their evangelism, and go out and proclaim the gospel. Even during the pandemic where there were the challenges of social distancing and quarantine, Cuban evangelists have not stopped proclaiming the good news and encouraging one another through Advance. Almost every day we’re seeing more people want to join the Advance movement and there are now more than 150 evangelists meeting across Cuba.
The work has now developed across 7 provinces in Cuba and our young leaders have appointed regional coordinators to spread the vision and launch groups in their area. More than 15 denominations have now got involved and we have seen evangelism as a common point and a driving force that encourages them to go out into the streets and speak about the hope of Jesus.
Here are just a few stories from what is happening in Cuba:

We believe there is a move of God in Cuba and Advance is helping to add more groups to this precious evangelistic movement. We love Cuba. We love the Cuban people and are thrilled to see the church and evangelistic ministries embrace the vision of Advance.
Pray for Cuba. Pray for unity amongst Cuban Christians. Let them open their eyes so they understand teamwork is a blessing. Also pray for the resources needed to grow the movement. Pray for open doors and protection to continue proclaiming the gospel throughout the country.
I am reminded of this scripture for Cuba. They really live and believe it.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Continue to lift up our brothers and sisters in Cuba. Believe and pray for a revival in that country.
As they say in Cuba “Cuba para Cristo!”
